White Mischief comes good

Gale force gusts swept Irish boats to the forefront of the racing in the Alfa Romeo Sigma European Championship on Dublin Bay yesterday. Dun Laoghaire¹s Tim Goodbody on White Mischief became clear overnight leader, breaking Tuesday three-way tie for first place.
The former Fastnet Race winner now has a 12 point lead over Ben Richards Lucent from Southampton who in turn is defending his runner-up place from the growing threat of Alan Milton¹s Pepsi in third.
Three races were sailed with Dermot Baker's Shillelagh taking Race four and Cork's Neil Love on War Dance winning the mid-day race. The latter retired from the afternoon course after snagging the windward mark. Goodbody won Race six.
