The French Sailing Federation (FFV) has recently announced the integration of the French crewed championship into Deauville International Week for the first time.

This championship, raced in the Mumm 30 , brings together the best French crews and groups them into an overall ranking with other regattas such as the Tour de France à la Voile and Grand Prix Atlantique, Grand Prix de l’Ecole Navale and Route des Iles held respectively on the Atlantic, English Channel and Mediterranean coasts.

The event follows on from the French Solo Championship, central to which is the Solitaire du Figaro.

This Championship is the latest to join Deauville International Week this year. The event also incorporates the French J/80 Cup, Nationals 747 OD, J/109 EuroCup, Trophée Manche UNCL (Channel Trophy) for IRC craft.

Deauville International Week will run this from 28 May until 1 June.
