Tacktick introduce their mn30 wind system

Friday December 5th 2008, Author: Sarah Johnson, Location: United Kingdom

Tacktick's new mn30 wind system is aimed at sailing or power cruising yachts 35ft and under, whether replacing an existing system or installing for the first time. Wind speed and direction information is delivered wirelessly from the wind transmitter, while the display itself is powered by the boat’s 12v battery. With no wires to run down the mast installation is quick and efficient and makes this an ideal replacement for broken wind systems.

The new mn30 wind system gives true and apparent wind speed and direction (true wind requires boat speed) in a large clear analogue display with backlighting for night sailing.

The new mn30 retails at £399.95 making it an affordable solution for both replacement wind systems and first time installations.

Tacktick remain world leaders in wireless electronics with their extensive range of innovative solar powered electronics covering dinghies, sports boats, cruising and racing yachts through to superyachts. With over 12 years experience and significant numbers of boat owners and boat builders appreciating the freedom and flexibility of no wires as well as proven reliability, the easy choice is Tacktick.
