Luxury jeweller to support Italia Challenge in Louis Vuitton Pacific Series

Damiani, the Italian luxury brand of high-end jewelry, will participate in the Louis Vuitton Pacific Series in Auckland over 30 January to 15 February as a supporter of Vasco Vascotto's Italia Challenge.

Damiani have supported boats in the Mediterranean for several years. Their maxi Damiani Ourdream has won trophies at Pirelli, Zegna and was Boat in the Year 2006.

"I have always loved the sea and am a great fan of sailing," said Giorgio Damiani, Vice President Damiani Group. "It's a great honor and a great satisfaction for our group to be present at the Louis Vuitton Pacific Series with a team bearing our name. Sailing is a world that we have begun to explore a few years ago and today, with this participation, it is our first time beyond the Mediterranean at the highest level in sport that we hope will capture the attention of fans from around the world ".
