Sailing clothing and accessories company, LW Regatta Gear, has introduced its new line of sailing and yachting wear, SmartGear, available exclusively through the company’s website. Regatta Gear’s direct-to-consumer business model provides sailing apparel and accessories at prices suggested 30%-50% below norms.

Regatta Gear, located in Southern California since 1998, specializes in high-performance sailing clothing, accessories and après sailing clothing. The company’s line includes customizable sailing jackets, vests, dry shirts, pullovers, tees, shorts, hats and accessories in both men’s and women’s sizes.

Regatta Gear Marketing Director, DJ Cathcart, is enthusiastic about the new SmartGear program’s potential: “It’s exciting to talk with boat owners, managers and college team coaches about what we’re doing, because it’s what they all really need right now, and our computer graphics demos allow them to see their logo on any piece and color in our collection.”

SmartGear gear coordinators are available by phone and email, to help owners, managers and crew select the right pieces for their individual sailing programs, as well as provide name or logo customization demos. Custom team orders placed now are delivererable for early April regattas.
