Henri Lloyd, Hyde Sails, Tacktick and Spinlock go on yacht club tour

Four of Britain’s best know marine brands have come together to launch a series of ‘Meet the Expert’ road shows to be delivered in selected yacht clubs during March and April this year.

Henri Lloyd, Hyde Sails, Tacktick and Spinlock will be offering yacht club members the chance to hear the latest in product innovation, top tips for the forthcoming season and information about new product launches. Experts from the manufacturers will be on hand to answer members’ questions and queries as well as offering invaluable inside knowledge on how to get the best out of your equipment for the forthcoming season.

The series of free road shows will take the form of informal evening events with drinks and practical presentations from the marine specialists together with product demonstrations and the chance to win a goodie bag of manufacturers’ prizes worth around £800.

Award winning wireless electronics experts Tacktick will be familiarising members with their extensive range of solar powered electronics suitable for dinghies and sports boats through to large yachts as well as offering those all-important tips on how to get the best out of your instruments for race-winning results. Tacktick will have their latest low-cost wind instrument on hand for demonstration.

Deckware specialists Spinlock will be demonstrating their latest ISO12402 Deckvest Lifejacket Harnesses and accompanying range. Since its launch, the Deckvest has revolutionised the lifejacket market through the quality of performance that sailors expect from their safety equipment, changed perceptions and made them attractive, comfortable and ergonomic to wear. Spinlock will also be on hand to answer questions on rope handling and deck hardware.
