Extreme Swiss lake class to go travelling this year

This year the M2 Speed Tour has created for this exciting class of lake racing catamarans (read more about the class here)

This box rule class of 28 footers has existed now for three seasons and for the first time this year will venture outside of Switzerland to Lake Garda, Italy as well as taking in all the top Swiss regattas such as the Bol d'Or.

This season, more than 21 boats and crews have been registered with the M2 owners' association, known as AM2 to race in this new circuit. This will comprise eight regattas from Neuchâtel to Geneva and then on to Garda. As ever moving the boats will take place with the support of Heliswiss that will literally airlift the boats between venues on 12 May from Lake Geneva to Neuchâtel and back again on 29 May.
