Schaefer Marine extend their range upwards

Schaefer Marine has just expanded their Tuff Luff Aero product line so it can be installed on larger boats. The two new 2506 products can be used on boats up to 55ft long with headstay wire, rod or PBO up to up to 3/8” in diameter.

According to Steve Majkut, Director of Sales and Marketing for Schaefer: “With over 200 units on the water in the first few months of production the response to the Tuff Luff Aero product line is nothing short of remarkable. To date we have had zero issues with the product and numerous on the water wins. The new 2506 product line is in response to a growing demand for Tuff Luff Aero among owners of larger boats."

Schaefer claims their Tuff Luff Aero product line has been wind-tunnel tested for the optimum shape resulting in a 9% increase in lift. It is made from a new polycarbonate material that is lighter and stronger than other systems.
