The wireless specialist launches products in Maxi range

UK based wireless solar-powered instrument company Tacktick are launching a new range of equipment for the larger racing yacht called the Micronet Maxi.

The Maxi racing range comprises of super large wireless display instruments that can be mounted to the mast in minutes (without needing to run wires) and feature a large 50mm digit displays which can show a single line of data that can be clearly seen from anywhere on the boat. The new Maxi displays are controlled wirelessly via the hand held Remote Display which also acts as a display in its own right bringing critical racing data in a variety of formats to the palm of the sailor’s hand.



Also part of the wireless racing package is Tacktick’s lightweight carbon fibre Vertical Wind Transmitter which requires just three screws to install at the top of the mast. To complete the new racing range Tacktick recently launched the world’s first wireless Mast Rotation Transmitter designed to give accurate wind data for yachts with rotating masts with the advantage of instant, wireless installation.
