TP 52s to visit France

Dates announced for 2007 Breitling MedCup circuit

Following its General Meeting in Castellon (Spain) on Friday 7 July, the Mediterranean TP 52 association has announced the selection of Hyères as the first ever TP 52 event in France.

This particular stage of the Breitling MedCup circuit will be held in Hyères from 10-15 September 2007.

The event will conclude the 2007 circuit after Castellon 13-17 June, the Breitling Regatta and the Copa Del Rey in Majorca (18-22 July and 28 July-5 August) and Portimao in Portugal (19-25 August). The TP52 World Championships is also due to take place in the Mediterranean in October.

Benefiting from an exceptional race zone as well as vast experience in managing large scale nautical events (F 18 Worlds, finish of the Tour de France à la Voile, Melges 24 Worlds), the town of Hyères- Les Palmiers now ranks as one of the leading international sailing venues.

The event will be presented by the town of Hyères, under the supervision of Edmond Bacci, Watersports representative, and the Sirius Evenements company managed by Manfred Ramspacher. The details are in the process of being formalised with the Medcup circuit..
