Racing marks file ready for download for Expedition users

With over 99 potential marks available for use for every course at Skandia Cowes Week, hours of preparation is essential. In addition, the Mark names and numbers have changed from 2004, so you cannot depend on your data from last year.

Ockam Europe has done those hours of preparation for navigators and tacticians and compiled a Mark database of Skandia Cowes Week 2005 Buoys for use with Expedition Performance Software. They have made this available very early this year to allow sailors to use the list while competing in events and training on the Solent, and will allow the fine tuning of the Buoy positions in preparation for Cowes Week – giving you that extra degree of confidence.

The Marks database has been created from the 2005 Buoy list, and is enhanced by some ‘pinging’ of some of the marks from our own sailing around the Solent.
