Winning Tides for Deckman

Solent tidal data incorporated in new release of navigation software

B&G, the Performance Sailing Division of Simrad, is releasing version 7.09 of Deckman incorporating Winning Tides, the powerful new tidal information package. Designed specifically for the Solent and Isle of Wight areas, Winning Tides will provide Deckman users with accurate tidal information available and is particularly useful for competitors in the Round The Island Race, Swan Europeans, Cowes Week and all other Solent based regattas.

The precise tidal information featured in Deckman with Winning Tides will help improve development of race strategy. Laylines can now be more accurately adjusted for tide, so they can be called with more confidence and the detailed tidal flow can be shown as an animated overlay on the chart. This, in addition to the wealth of tactical functionality provided by Deckman ensures skippers and crew have the best information at all times.
