Inside Alinghi will be showing on the Wednesday Selection of Eurosport tonight, 18 May at 22:55 CET. Last week viewers saw how Alinghi won the America’s Cup and the raucous elation when SUI64 docked in Auckland on the 2 March 2003 to ‘lift the Cup’, a historic day for yachting!

Coming up tonight, viewers will witness Ernesto Bertarelli’s prophetic words on leaving Geneva in 2002: “maybe we will come back with the Cup. This is my dream,” and the victorious return, Cup in hand, with his Alinghi team mates. This is followed by Alinghi’s selection of Valencia as the home of the 32nd America’s Cup and the ensuing fiesta. Also on Inside Alinghi, is the massive Alinghi move from Switzerland to Spain and their first sail training day in Valencian waters.

In a flash preview for next week, 25 May, Jochen Shuemann, sporting manager will explain how Alinghi is building a strong team and how the Defender intends to win the Cup again.
