Organisers of the Rolex Women’s Match and the St. Petersburg Yacht Club in St. Petersburg, FL. will offer an introductory match-racing clinic with World Match Racing Champion and America’s Cup sailor Ed Baird.

The two-day clinic will take place on 7-8 April and precedes the four-day Rolex Women’s Match scheduled for 8-11 April. The clinic and regatta will be raced in Sonar class keelboats on Tampa Bay.

"This is an excellent opportunity to learn about match racing through classroom instruction and practical on-the-water drills with one of the world’s most experienced match racers and coaches," said Pat Seidenspinner, chairman of the Rolex Women’s Match.

The Rolex Women’s Match is an International Sailing Federation (ISAF) grade 4 event and was created in 2002 to introduce women sailors to match racing.
