Notice of Race available

On line entry available for participants in next year's 11th Rolex International Women’s Keelboat Championship

The Notice of Race for the 11th Rolex International Women’s Keelboat Championship, a US Sailing championship, is now available online here. This world-class event, one of the highest profile women’s keelboat regattas in the world, will be held over 17-23 September, 2005 at the Annapolis Yacht Club in Annapolis, Md.

"World class racing, great hospitality, plus unbeatable social events make the Rolex IWKC a very special and remarkable event," said local regatta chair Taran Teague. "This year we have recruited Sandy Grosvenor as the Principal Race Officer. Sandy is not only a US Sailing National Race Officer, but she has raced in the Rolex IWKC five times and co-chaired the event in 2001. I am sure she and the race committee team will produce a spectacular championship."

To receive by mail the 10-page color brochure, which includes entry requirements as well as competitor information for accommodations, chartering a J/22 and the schedule of events, send an email to Taran Teague. Include full name and mailing address in the text of the email.

The Rolex IWKC will feature 11-races in five days and will be preceded by two days for registration, measurement and a practice race. Evening social events will culminate with the traditional Rolex gala and awards presentation. A Rolex timepiece will be awarded to the winning boat’s skipper.
