Rosebud and Bright Star level pegging Transpac 52s going into Rolex Big Boat Series

The TP 52 Season Championship concludes with the 2004 Rolex Big Boat Series Buoy Regatta hosted by St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco on 16-19 September.
The TP 52 season championships are scored using the best two out of three regattas: the 2004 Bermuda Race, the 2004 Chicago to Mackinac Race and the 2004 Rolex Big Boat Series based on the elapsed time order of finish. Low point score wins with ties broken by the boat with the greater number of first place finishes, number of second place finishes etc. After two races, the scoring is as follows:

Rosebud 1st, 3rd 4 points
Bright Star 2nd. 2nd 4 points
Sjambok 3rd, 4th 7 points
Esmeralda DNC, 1st 6 points
Light Wave 4th , DNC 9 points
Beau Geste DNC, DNC 10 points
Braveheart DNC, DNC 10 points
Flash DNC, DNC 10 points
Trader DNC,DNC 10 points
Yassou DNC, DNC 10 points
