XOD raring to go

Central Solent Championships this weekend

Top XOD sailors are already gathering at the Royal Southern YC for this weekends Central Solent Championships.

With plenty of short sharp windward leeward racing planned for the weekend. The Central Solent Champs is a fantastic event to get you on the pace ready for Cowes Week!

Steve Lawrence and Alan Stringer are back to defend their title with Peter Baines hoping to improve on last years 2nd place. 2002 winner Lass (Simon Russell) will be hoping to mix it with the hot competition that is expected from the visiting divisions. Around 30 boats are entered, lets hope the wind turns up.

Together with the 'Lass' trophy, this event will again offer some fantastic prizes . These have kindly been donated by:Baltic, Clamcleat, Holt , Hyde Sail and North Sails.
