French Claire Leroy and her Team Ideactor had an exceptional performance during the second round-robin on Saturday afternoon on the waters off Lysekil. With six victories and no losses she will now meet the Dane Nina Braestrup in the semi-final.

In the second semi final the club members of the Royal Gothenburg Yacht Club, Linda Rahm and Marie Björling, will meet. Both ended up with three victories in round robin 2.

"We knew that we had the possibility of coming back in the light winds. Several times we were behind, but with great effort from the crew we turned the races around," explained Björling who sails with Nina Bake, Annika Carlunger, Elisabeth Nilsson, Jenny Axhede and Åsa Aronsson in Team Panorama. "We have yet another gear to go yet so count on us in the next races," she adds

Claire Leroy and her crew of Team Ideactor, comprising Camille Dreyfus, Julie Gerecht, Amelie Guiccam, Marie Riou and Morgane Gautier, had an exceptionally successful Saturday when everything worked perfectly. They won all their five matches after relaxed and safe sailings in the light winds.

"We made good starts, the tactics worked very well and the crew handled the boat in a perfect way. We were simply sailing perfectly, now when we have got more practise and could sail more relaxed," Leroy says.

Linda Rahm and her crew Johanna Särnå, Erika Arnoldsson, Suzanne Nyberg, Susanne Ivarsson and Anna Bjurström on Team Koncentra had their worst day so far this week with just three victories and two losses.

"We have not made many mistakes earlier this week and so we will continue. I consider this day as a day in between," says Rahm.

Nina Braestrup from the Royal Danish Yacht Club in Copenhagen was the last skipper to make it to the semi finals, with only two victories and three loses in round robin 2.

"It's not very often you can reach the semi finals after only two victories, and we didn't figure it out until we reached the harbour after the races. Now we have to read the winds better in the next races," Braestrup says.
