Bosphorus Cup regatta to take place in Istanbul at the end of this month

Istanbul, Turkey and the busy waters of the Bosphorus will once again be the site of the third annual Bosphorus Cup on 28-30 May. Thousands of sailors on more than 100 sailboats are expected to race in the narrow waterways separating the continents of Europe and Asia.

The organizers of the Bosphorus Cup are the Marmara Sailing Club, Dragos Sailing Club, the Bosphorus University Sailing Club of Istanbul and ORG Sports Marketing.

Racing on the Bosphorus starts on Saturday 29 May, followed by a race to Princess Island on 30 May 30th. The sailors will gather for the awards ceremony on Sunday evening at the Marmara Yelken Kulübü, one of the oldest and most prestigious yacht clubs in Turkey.
