Try a 1720 on Saturday 5 April
Thursday March 20th 2003, Author: Becci Eplett, Location: United Kingdom
On Saturday April 5th 2003, Key Yachting and the 1720 Class Association will be holding an Open Day in Hamble.
Designed by Tony Castro, the 1720 has strict one design rules and is a high speed, high stability, 26 foot keeled sportsboat with a large sail area and an asymmetric spinnaker flown from a retractable bowsprit.
The intention is to give anyone interested in trying the 1720 an opportunity to view the boat and also to get out on the water sailing. Key Yachting will be bringing together a collection of good quality, second hand boats that are available for sale, and representatives from the UK Class Association, including the English Fleet Captain, will also be on hand to talk to those in attendance.
For more information, or to book a time slot to go sailing, please contact Becci Eplett at Key Yachting on 02380 455669 or email Becci@j-uk.com
