Midweek sailing fix

Daily Sail reader Nick Gibbons has sent in this footage from Saturdays Mumm 30 racing. The video is three minutes long and follows the race as it unfolds, including a couple of wipeouts.

Nick (who is a member of the new Volvo Keelboat Squad) sails on Mumbo Jumbo and they have put together a team of people to go to the Mumm 30 Worlds in October in the south of France. The team are sponsored by Aircraftcharter.com and e1business.com. Their team website is www.mumbojumbo.info

The Spring Sportsboat Championships were their first UK based event of the year, and they were mainly looking at crew work, with the focus on improving boat handling. The team is being coached throughout the year by Jim Saltonstall.
