Plus crew line-ups for Thursday's racing in the Moet Cup

The fourth race of the Pro-Driver series of the Moet Cup has been abandoned, due to problems in the pre-start sequence in yesterday’s race.

The decision was made on Thursday morning by the Race Committee and agreed to by the International Jury and both teams. The race schedule will be unchanged on Thursday, and the teams will re-sail the race later in the week, at a date and time to be determined.

The score in the seven-race Pro-Driver series will now sit at 2-1 for Oracle BMW Racing.

The race schedule continues on Thursday with Race Three of the Owner-Driver series, followed by the Pro-Drivers.

“Mainly light and variable or NE less than 6 knots on the bay through 1100. Becoming onshore from the W/WSW late morning at 5-10 knots. A slow building sea breeze from mid-day through early afternoon. Winds mainly SW/WSW at 10-15 knots, possibly briefly over 15 mid-afternoon. Wind speeds will die quickly toward sunset and the NE'ly gradient may become re-established.”
