Australian AC challenge announces new website

One month after the launch of the OzBoyz Challenge for the 32nd America’s Cup in 2007, the OzBoyz Challenge today launched its official website and on-line recruitment program.

The OzBoyz campaign is designed to attract the youth of Australia with both male and female participants eligible for one of the eighty-three positions within the team. The OzBoyz Challenge is particularly keen to encourage as many applicants born since 1983, the year Australia became the first country to break America’s 132 year reign of the America’s Cup.

The official OzBoyz Challenge website www.ozboyzchallenge.com has been created by the dedicated IT professionals at Sumo. Prosser and Martin Grant, the two principals of Sumo together with their team have supplied creative energy and ideas to produce an outstanding on-line solution for OzBoyz Challenge.

The launch of the website coincides with the on-line recruitment program and commences with vacancies in the sailing squad appearing on www.ozboyzchallenge.com and the Seek website www.seek.com.au.

OzBoyz Challenge has received overwhelming interest and feedback from around the world since the launch of the project. With the selected European America’s Cup venue due to be announced on 26th November 2003, the OzBoyz Challenge journey on the road to success in 2007 is well underway.
