Speed under kite

WSSRC recognise kite sailing

Recognising the increasing interest in kite sailing on boards, the WSSR
Council has recently awarded Performance Certificates for the following
achievements:

Malik Bouchenafa 38.28kts 6th May 2003 at Leucate, France.

This speed stood until July, when:

Robby Naish, USA 38.47kts 28th July 2003 at Aringa, Gran Canaria.

Both speeds were achieved under the WSSR Rules and observed and
authenticated by WSSR Commissioners.
