The Musto HPX Drysuit was awarded the Design Council’s Millennium Product Status in 2000, but since then a number of significant new features have been added.

The update HPX DrySuit now is fitted with a lightweight, flexible diagonal front zip. It also has Musto's latest prismatic reflective strips and the legsnow have black 1000 denier Cordura knee and seat patches in line with Musto's other HPX gear.

The summit of technical achievement in Musto’s range for sailing in extreme conditions, the HPX Drysuit was designed to ensure a 2-3 hour survival time for a man overboard with average body fat in 5° C water.

This is time enough for a vessel to react to the emergency, re-trace her course and make a successful recovery. Compare this outcome with prospect of death by drowning within 15-20 minutes.

The HPX Drysuit is also the perfect all-weather garment for full-on racing in high latitudes - or low air/sea temperatures. Using GORE-TEX Ocean Technology fabric, articulated elbows and knees, protected latex neck and wrist seals, a new lightweight, flexible front zip and Musto’s uniquely effective hood/collar system, it can comfortably be worn watch-on watch-off - or continuously - just ask Ellen!

The full list of performance features is impressive:

1 Provides 2-3 hours’ survival time in water of 5°C
