Finn class announces arrangements for RYA qualifiers

The Finn class have announced the arrangements for next year's Europeans and Worlds. There are five RYA qualifiers arranged:
2001 Oct 27/28 - Weymouth
2001 Nov 2/4 - Warsash
2001 Nov 10/11 - Rutland;

2002 - April 6/7 - Venue TBA
2002 - May 4/5 - Hayling Island

For the Europeans at Cesme (June 29th - July 9th) the first four events will be used with the best two events to count. A DNS will count as 50 points.

For the Worlds in Athens (July 15th - 22nd) all five events will be used with the best three events to count. A DNS will again count for 50 points.

The numbers that we can send to these events are likely to be the same as this year, however this will be confirmed once the fees have been received early in the new year.

The program for next year is nearly complete and the qualification events for the 2003 Europeans and Worlds will be announced shortly. They will include the Inlands, Northerns and possibly four or five RYA qualifiers.
