Nigel Cherrie joins madforsailing

Former RYA man will be helping madforsailing with their dinghy and keelboat coverage

Nigel Cherrie has joined the madforsailing editorial team with the primary responsibility of keeping our dinghy and keel boat coverage humming.

Nigel is well known within yachting circles from his work as the Royal Yachting Association's Team GBR Media Officer. In this capacity he worked at the 2000 Sydney Olympic games and in the Chernikeeff Olympic trials. Since then he has worked as part of the Volvo Ocean Race's media team and most recently has been in New Zealand where he was working for madforsailing as our America's Cup correspondent.

Nigel describes himself as a keen swimmer and cyclist and a recreational sailor/windsurfer.
