Dubarry launch new model

Dubarry have launched a new lady's boat shoe, the Maldives.

This new two eye tie classic ladies' deck shoe is waterproof, lightweight and flexible. Maldives is made from Dubarry's specially treated soft nubuck and leather uppers which come in a choice of colours from coffee and cream through to red, oyster and stone as well as the more traditional chestnut brown and navy. Bringing a touch of style to the deck shoe, Dubarry has designed in a Cordura® fabric insert around the side and on the tongue to offer an additional level of contrast.

Maldives is designed to be as comfortable as possible. Unlike some other deck shoes, which can have a thin, flat sole so that every stone or bump underfoot is felt by the wearer, Dubarry's injection moulded EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) mid-sole provides a softer, shock absorbent sole. The sole also has a special concealed injection moulded heel piece which has been especially included on ladies' styles making them more comfortable to wear.

The overall look is completed by Dubarry's distinctive port and starboard flashing, and stylish rust-proof emblem.

Maldives is available in UK sizes 3-8, European 35-42. Colours available include Navy, Chestnut, Coffee/Cream, Oyster/Stone, Demin/Red and Denim/Tan. The Maldives retails at £70 and will be available in all leading Dubarry stockists from February 2004.
