New branding company launched

GBR Challenge sailor strikes out in business

Cowes Week 2003 sees the official launch of Grapefruit Graphics Limited. A new sports branding company providing everything from initial graphic design through to the manufacture of major signage.

Founded by Jim Turner and Andy Yeomans, Grapefruit Graphics is based in new premises in Universal Marina on the river Hamble where every part of the branding process can be catered for.

Andy Yeomans has a twelve-year background in the branding industry, providing solutions to a wide range of branding requirements in a range of industry sectors.
Andy is a keen racing sailor, and through this has established himself a reputation of being able to deliver effective branding solutions in this harsh outdoor environment.

In contrast Jim Turner has most recently been involved as a sailing team member of the GBR Challenge Americas Cup Team. Alongside his professional sailing career, Jim has worked extensively in the marine trade over the past ten years - with his brother Chris at the boat builders and chandlers, Specialized Marine.

Grapefruit Graphics are able to consult on design through to the manufacture and display of the end product - this includes items such vinyl decals, flags, banners or signage. Early commissions have been for sailing and golf with the company looking to take its skills into different sporting markets.
