Harken competition winners

Christmas spirit continues at Harken UK with five, not three, winners announced

In December madfor sailing ran a competition in association with Harken UK, where the winners would receive free kit for their respective boats.

After much consideration Harken UK and madfor sailing have trawled through the entries. The standard was impressively high making it a close call, and considering this Harken have agreed to award five, not three prizes plus some consolation ones.

And the chosen winners are...

Under 15: Topper sailor Nathan Batchelor from North Somerset

Plus Under 15: Optimist twins, Ben and Tim Saxton from Hertfordshire

15-21: Fireball duo Matt and Ben Summers from Dorset

Over 21: Karen Hodges from Harwich YC, who intended to follow in the wake of Ellen and singlehand a boat around Britain this June

All these winner will receive a full package of Harken gear appropriate to their boat.

Harken have also agreed, as a consolation prize to offer the following entries a 50% discount on Harken gear as their entries were of such a good standard.
