Laser 2000 Preview

It's the turn of the Laser 2000 fleet to hold their Nationals this weekend, Carsington Water.

This weekend, 8-9 September, will see over 35 boats on the start line of the third Laser 2000 National Championships.
The class has gone from strength to strength since it’s launch and the championships this year promise to be closer than ever before. This year's event will again take place at Carsington Water in Derbyshire, one of the country's best kept sailing secrets.

The organisers have secured sponsorship from sailing gear supplier Crewsaver, who will be providing prizes, with the Saturday evening entertainment & happy hour sponsored by Proctor Masts.

Six races are planned over the two days and as well as prizes for the top teams, there will be prizes for junior helms & crews, best improvers, female helm, as well as some spot prizes available for just turning up.
