Two of the all-time greats have been out match racing each other in Switzerland

Two of the greatest sailors in the world have been battling it out in their own private match race in Switzerland. Russell Coutts has been match race practising in 8-Metres with Jochen Schumann, his Swiss Challenge sparring partner and three-time Olympic champion in his own right.
While the Swiss America's Cup syndicate has been working on its IACC boats, the crew have been keeping themselves sharp with some close match racing. In four races in light and fluky winds, the score after four heats was two apiece to the Kiwi and the German.

Aside from that, the crew is also said to be working extremely hard on fitness, both on aerobic stamina and muscular strength.
