For 2004 Henri-Lloyd are introducing HL Innovations, a range inspired by the needs of performance sailors racing in The America’s Cup where the competition is intense and design is tested to its limits. HL Innovations is technically designed for speed and agility – fresh ergonomic designs, stretch and athletic cuts, with the latest technical fabrics that help to enhance comfort, mobility and endurance.



Foil Jacket & Trouser (above)

Designed with the performance sailor in mind, Henri-Lloyd’s new Foil Jacket & Trouser are made with revolutionary Pixel 2.5 fabric with GORE-TEX technology. Engineered to be the lightest, most durable, waterproof, breathable fabric on the market today, Henri-Lloyd have harnessed it to produce one of the most revolutionary jackets since the company pioneered breathable fabrics over a decade ago.

The outer fabric is so durable that no liner is required and Henri-Lloyd have added Riri Storm waterproof zips and a storm hood and collar system as well as storm cuffs to prove the ultimate in athletic foul weather protection.

The same revolutionary Henri-Lloyd 2.5 pixel fabric with GORE-TEX technology has been used to create a start of the art foul weather trouser which, when worn with the Foil Jacket, gives total protection from the elements but won’t slow down the performance sailor.

The Foil Trouser is ultra light and ultra durable with 100% waterproof taped seams, Riri Storm waterproof zips and Cordura® reinforcement on knee and seat for extra protection.

Neo N2S Top (above)

The Neo N2S Top is a new breed of layering product. Made from pioneering Gore N2S® (next to skin) performance fabric, Neo can be worn next to the skin or over a base layer to provide maximum wind protection and wicking performance. The three layer N2S laminate is water resistant, highly wind resistant and breathable with stretch characteristics. Designed to perform over a broader range of climate conditions and activity levels and with anatomical shaping and no loose fabric to restrict performance, Neo eliminates the need for separate wind blocking and wicking layers.

Henri-Lloyd recognise that sailors want all round performance from garments that can be worn in different types of sailing events and have developed Matrix, a range of athletic, durable, wicking products which have evolved from The America’s Cup. Worn on its own or under Henri-Lloyds Dynamics or Element Jacket, Matrix Crew is a high-tech, stretch performance , fast dri garment with a high UV protection factor.

The Matrix Crew Top is available with short sleeves, long sleeves and long sleeves with zip neck and all styles can be teamed with the Matrix Tight which can be worn on their own or under foul weather trousers.

The Extreme Deck Boot is a masterpiece of product engineering - the highest build quality, top grade components all combined with state of the art technology. Totally waterproof and breathable, the Extreme Deck Boot has been designed at a ‘total concept product’ – all dimensions of comfort are covered.

Henri-Lloyd’s Extreme Deck Boot is a first in the marine world, blending waterproof/breathable performance with Outlast® “climate control” - if your feet are warm it removes excess heat, if they are cold it gives it back!

This 'smart technology' actually changes temperature in response to your body’s needs - warm when it’s cold, cool when it’s warm.

The Extreme Deck Boot is made with Henri-Lloyd's pioneering TP waterproof breathable membrane which, with the high wicking Dri-lex® lining, transports perspiration to the outside whilst eliminating water penetration from the outside. The uppers are constructed from Pittards WR100 leather, the highest grade waterproof leather available. An EVA mid-sole provides cushioning and stability, whilst the exclusively designed sole unit features water dispersion channels and is razor cut both laterally and vertically for maximum deck grip.
