New for Autumn 2003 is the latest addition to the highly successful AquaSpec life-saving light range from Ocean Safety, the AQ180 SOLAS / Shipswheel Approved Lifebuoy Light, a major step forward in innovation and design. The AQ180 combines a remarkably compact casing with an innovative extra-large dome that projects the light over a wide area, greatly enhancing visibility.

The new AQ180 self-activating lifebuoy light offers a number of other significant advantages over conventional units. The light and its five-year battery are completely sealed, providing a robust, corrosion and tamper proof unit, and the integral mounting bracket has been designed to fit the majority of installations. The AQ180 conforms to IMO Res. MSC.81 (70) (as amended), and complements the award wining AQ98 lifejacket light.

Lifebuoys lights are a vital (and in many cases, mandatory) piece of equipment, and the AQ180 provides the finest unit available for mariners looking for the very best in man overboard identification.
