As yacht designer teams up to bring Harken clothing to Cowes

John Corby and Morgan Kane have recently opened a Harken Concept shop at 90, High Street, Cowes displaying and selling a comprehensive range of Harkens Italian designed clothing, shoes and accessories.

John Corby said, "following 15 years of specifying Harken deck gear for my yacht designs, it was a natural progression to set up the Harken Concept shop in Cowes along with Morgan Kane who is well known for her expertise in the marine clothing market. The prime location in Cowes High Street, the fact that we are open seven days a week means that owner and crew orders and personalised embroidery can be handled promptly and efficiently. It also helps that the Harken range is of the highest quality".

Andy Ash-Vie Managing Director of Harken UK said "we are really pleased to be involved with John and Morgan in this venture and see this as the first step in moving the Harken clothing and accessory range to the fore as the range to have and be seen in on and off the boat".

He added, "new to the Harken line up at Cowes are the Morfosis range of goggles/sunglasses (see photo below), these can be transformed from goggles to sunglasses in a matter of seconds. The ‘Stealth’ version has neutral green lenses for everyday use and the ‘Chameleon’ has high-definition amber lenses for bright conditions, and are a must for the owner and crew”.
