A mean sea level pressure chart with 2 mb spacing of isobars, shows a decent WSW airflow. If you are used to looking at 4 mb spacing on synoptic charts, then this chart looks like a lot of wind - the fact that it is only 2 mb spacing means there is half the amount of wind that you would expect!
