The definition of a Screwball is: an eccentric, impulsively whimsical, or irrational person and let’s be honest that is a fair description of most sailors! The Hamble River based Royal Southern Yacht Club's version is; an evening of eating, drinking, dancing and pre season merry making.
The fourth annual Crew Ball is on the 10th March and will feature a live band, disco dancing and roving entertainers.
As with previous years it is expected to be a sell out. Tickets are sold on a first come first served basis and are limited to 300 party.
The Screw ball is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and maybe make some new ones. The event marks the start of a busy programme of racing, cruising and social events hosted by the club.
The Screw Ball is on Saturday 10th March 2007
Tickets: £30.00
