Henri Lloyd celebrated the first anniversary of its Lymington Sailing Store in style, with an anniversary party today.
Customers and sailing ‘celebrities’, including Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, Helena Lucas and local silver medallist Nick Rogers, joined the Henri Lloyd team at the champagne celebration and to welcome the new Sailing Store Manager, Felicity Murray.
Located at 1, High Street, Lymington, it is one of Henri Lloyd’s largest standalone Sailing Stores and, following a successful first year of trading in one the most famous sailing towns in the UK, Henri Lloyd is looking to build on this success and strengthen relationships with the local sailing fraternity. The new in-store management team will be refreshed with a new focus and more involvement in local events.
Graham Allen, Commercial Director of Henri Lloyd commented: "Henri Lloyd has had a great first year in Lymington and the store is a significant contributor to our Sailing Store retail portfolio. Lymington is one the main hubs of sailing on the south coast and we recognise the importance of being a central part of the town and the sailing community."
The Lymington store is part of a continued programme to roll out the Henri Lloyd Sailing Store concept and other stores can be found at Weymouth, Cowes and Falmouth. The sailing concept complements the city centre stores in Manchester, Birmingham and the flagship store in Carnaby St, London.
