Brothers, Mark and Clive Johnson, the founders and owners of marine electronics company Tacktick, have won the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, presented by Boating Business in association with the Marine Trades Association (MTA) at BBEx.
Mark and Clive Johnson who are joint Managing Directors of Tacktick commented, “This award is a great honour for us and the young team at Tacktick who have driven forward such innovation over recent years and enabled us to take on some of the most experienced electronics companies in the sector. We see this award as recognition for the whole Tacktick team together with its network of international distributors and suppliers who have embraced the new technologies that we have pioneered.”
Tacktick offers a full range of wireless networking marine electronics for sail and powerboats of all sizes. The company’s Micronet navigation system uses innovative new technology to send data wirelessly from the hull transmitter and wind transmitter to wireless displays.
