ISA choose Slam

New clothing for Irish Sailing Association

The Irish Sailing Association and Slam jointly launched a select range of ISA Branded Slam sailing gear for the 2006 season at a reception during the Outdoor Adventure Show in the RDS. This range, being offered to clubs, classes and individuals, provides high quality, fashionable sailing gear which is an ideal solution as crew gear for sailing teams.

In 2005 the Irish Sailing Association appointed Italian clothing company Slam as their Official clothing supplier. One year on, the partnership has been expanded and developed to include staff, Event and National team clothing. The range, developed in consultation with Slam includes Fleece Lined Jackets, Sailing Gilets, Long and Short sleeve Polos, Sail Cloth enforced sailing bags and baseball caps.

Paolo Bafico, Business Development Manager for SLAM, commented on the relationship at the launch "The partnership between the ISA and SLAM, which started just under a year ago, continues to develop. I was very pleased to see the newly launched merchandising ISA-branded SLAM collection on display at the Outdoors Adventure Show. We are working closely together with the ISA management on some very significant aspects of our relationship and we will be hopefully in a position to announce further progress very soon"
