SmartSail, the revolutionary new leisure-sailing system, where everyone can get on the water from only £35 per month has announced the location of their flagship base.
SmartSail has selected Ocean Village as the base for their Luhrs Marine yachts citing Southampton'sexcellent transport links and historical maritime connection.
John Rennie, a marketing mogul from California and founder of SmartSail commented, “Southampton is the premiere location for yachting, Ocean Village was the first choice due to its convenience for commuters and excellent entry to the sailing mecca of the Solent.”
The Solent provides an excellent location for first time sailors and more adventurous individuals. Vaughan Daniels, one of the innovators behind SmartSail added; “This is the first of SmartSail’s bases where you can just step onto a yacht and enjoy the freedom of sailing, we will be releasing a number of new UK bases during our 2006 expansion”.
The flagship base will be available for viewing in the New Year with the official opening during Easter 2006, details to follow.
SmartSail will be on stand NI748 at the 2006 London Boat Show
