Ockam Europe take on new software

Nick White's Expedition software comes to Europe

Ockam Europe has been appointed the European distributor for Expedition Navigational and Tactical software, to develop sales and deliver customer services to European based clients. The recent launch by owner and developer Nick White to the global market realised a staggering response, hence it was decided to diversify the distribution of the product in order to meet demand.

Expedition is designed to be the most user friendly and powerful software package on the market, realised after years of ground up development and testing in the yacht racing arena. It has been designed for both inshore and offshore racing, with simple graphical manipulation of waypoints, and highly refined, easy to use GRIB routeing algorithms.

A high proportion of the development and modification of Expedition has been performed by Nick White while using Expedition at a Nav station in the middle of offshore races…if Nick didn’t like how something worked, he re-wrote it there and then and tested it extensively. No other software manufacturer has this level of understanding of the racing sailors’ real needs.
