New developments on the site

We are pleased to launch today our new racing calendar. The navigation for this has been put up on the top bar.

In addition to the calendar is a new directory which includes listings for yacht and sailing clubs from around the world and a new directory for class associations.

The calendar has several different searching functions, to make it as easy as possible for you to find what you are looking for. There is a simple keyword search or you can search by type of event - following the Offshore, Inshore, Dinghy theme on the site.

These searches can, if needed, be further refined by location, by start date and number of months. You can also jump to any month in the calendar using the separate boxes. The monthly calendar box to the right has two arrows on it, so you can scroll through the months this way too.

We have not listed everything in the world in the calendar, but have focused on the major events for all types of racing in the UK, Europe and across the world. If there is anything significant that you think we may have missed, please do let us know.

Each event entry may have a button to go to the relevant Venue Guide and/or the host club for that event. By clicking on the event name you will go to the official event website, or the specific class association for that event.

By using the sailing directory, you can quickly search for a sailing club or class association and the link will take you directly to their website.

Finally, we hope that the calendar and directories will grow over the coming months providing all our readers with accurate, comprehensive and good quality information.
