Helly Hansen has just launched its new 2004 technical watersports range for women.

The new Dayrace Jacket (RRP £70.00) and Pant (RRP £50.00) is for the active cans racer or crews in moderate conditions. With its rubber 'smock style' collar and new stealth cuffs, this waist length jacket will offer the correct protection in day sailing conditions. The Dayrace pant is designed with reinforced knees and seat, and an inner rubber seal at the waist and ankle. Alarge pocket on the thigh is covered with a storm flap to keep items dry. The pant comes in classic navy and is complemented with a selection of two colourways for the jacket glacier/classic navy and crimson/oyster. The secondary colour is in the form of two strips around the sleeves.

The Journey Jacket (RRP £100.00) and High Fit Trouser (right - RRP £80.00) are more technical products.

The high fit trouser has been redesigned to include a straightforward drop seat feature. The full-length zip fastening has been moved to under the arm from the original front position. This new arrangement ensures that once the shoulder straps have been unclipped the seat pulls away to one side.

A chest pocket has been added to the bib together with a large thigh pocket. It also features reinforced knees and seat offering extra comfort and durability.

The Journey jacket has an adjustable fleece collar and a toggle at the side of the hem that can be tightened for a snug fit. For extra protection, the jacket has a storm flap across the full length front zip, two fleece pockets at the front and rubber inner cuffs at the wrists. This jacket is available in glacier/classic navy, true red/oyster and oyster/classic navy colourways.
