New sunglasses from Gill

Amazingly priced eyewear for the active sailor

What every sailor wants is a pair of purpose-designed, lightweight sunglasses that fits really comfortably, reduces the intense glare off the water and, even better, sunglasses that float if they’re dropped over the side.

Gill has launched two styles of sunglasses that are designed with integral floatation and polarised lenses specifically for use on the water - Gill Sunglasses and Gill Racing Sunglasses.

Gill Sunglasses are available in four colours – Navy, Black, Silver and Metallic Red – and retail for £30.00. Gill Racing Sunglasses are available in Navy and Silver and retail at £35.00. The latter style features a wrap-around robust sports frame with retaining strap that reduces water ingress and provides peripheral UV 400 protection, eliminating white reflected glare.

Both styles use 100% glare-free, shatter-resistant Polarised lenses by Polaroid that are scratch-resistant inside and out and come with a dry wipe pouch to store them in.
