New product launch from Holt

Holt’s new plain bearing jammer is a cost effective solution for mainsheet control on boats up to five metres.

Designed as an entry-level product for boat builders, training schools and holiday operators the jammer retails just under £40 (including a mainsheet block), it also provides a great upgrade and easy retrofit for any dinghy owner.

With just three fastenings it is easy to install and has a host of features including a wire arm construction. Its full width cleat helps line slide straight off and its three raised feet fit uneven surfaces and act as fixing points. It has a concealed screw access port and is manufactured from lightweight composite material.

Holt worked with LDC Racing Sailboats Limited to develop the new plain bearing jammer. This initiative has led to the product being used on the new RS Feva. It also makes an ideal fitting on most medium sized performance dinghies.
