Irish deckshoe manufacturer goes canvas

Dubarry has launched its first canvas deck shoe, offering a smart alternative to either going bare foot or wearing traditional leather deck shoes this summer.

Available in four colours - red, white, navy and camel – the new Bahamas style looks stylish and trendy, while still providing Dubarry‘s proven high performance non slip qualities that keep boaters safely upright both on and off the water.

The Bahamas rubber non-slip sole is based on the design of a Formula One car tyre, with interconnecting channels that disperse water underfoot in several directions simultaneously. A moulded side panel extends from the sole around the edge of the shoe, to help keep the foot stable and provide maximum traction at all times, whatever the angle!

The Bahamas are made from quick dry canvas, featuring Dubarry’s high quality non-rust eyelets and a specially designed comfortable inner sole. A strong fabric lace extends all the way around the shoe to ensure a comfortable fit. The unisex Bahamas is available in European sizes 36 to 46 (UK size 3.5 to 11), and retails at £40.
