Bruno Peyron relaunches Innovation Explorer in her new Orange colour

Bruno Peyron's maxi-catamaran was launched on Christmas Eve in her new livery. This is the 110ft cat, formerly known as Innovation Explorer which Bruno's brother Loick competed in The Race. She is a sistership to Grant Dalton's Club Med.

Orange is currently receiving the finishing touches at the boatyard in La Ciotat near Marseilles in the south of France. She underwent her first sea trials over the weekend since her relaunch.

The boat is currently being prepared for Peyron's attempt on the Jules Verne Trophy, non-stop around the world in February, which the Frenchman will undertake with a crew of 12-13. He will probably compete against Olivier de Kersauson's new maxi trimaran Geronimo.

The announcement of who will be in the crew will take place when the boat is christened in the Vieux Port of Marseilles, her homeport during January.
