En route to the Jubilee

Classic Yachts are on their way from the Mediterranean and the States to take part in the America's Cup Jubilee

As the world descends onto the Isle of Wight for Skandia Life Cowes Week, it is hard to imagine that three times the amount of people are expected to join them for the formidable America's Cup Jubilee celebrations starting on August 18.

Above is a picture of nine classic yachts - plus one inside, embarked in Monaco on the deck of the cargo ship Alblasgracht currently winging its way to Southampton. Below is the Dockwise Yacht Transport, a yacht carrier ship fully laden with the New York Yacht Club fleet. All boats on board both ships will be participating in the prestigious event .
