RYA Dinghy Show tickets on sale

Tickets are now on sale for The RYA Volvo Dinghy Show, that is 2011 will be celebrating its 60th birthday. Once again the show will be held at Alexandra Palace in northeast London over the weekend of 5-6 March.

“We have some great talks, coaching sessions and exhibitors lined up for the 2011 show and being it’s our 60th birthday there will be a real party feeling to the show, so why not get your tickets for the show now, they’ll make an ideal Christmas stocking filler; I guarantee any dinghy sailor will love them”, commented Paul Bayliss, RYA Volvo Dinghy Show manager.

Tickets brought in advance cost just £11.00 for adults (£9.00 for RYA members and £8.00 for RYA Gold members), children 16 or under; accompanied by an adult, just £5.00 a ticket and go free on Sunday (maximum two free of charge child tickets per adult). Those buying a ticket in advance up until midnight on 4 March 2011 will be able to nominate their sailing club to be in with a chance of winning. Thanks’ to show sponsors Volvo plus Suzuki, Rigiflex, Mersea Trailers and Rooster Sailing, clubs will be placed into one of the three prize draw groups depending upon the number of tickets sold and nominations made.
